First Transnational Meeting within the FAST Project

We were very excited to participate in the first transnational meeting within the FAST Project, which took place in Cluj-Napoca.

All 5 project partners participated: Police College and High School of the Ministry of Interior in Holesov, Czech Republic; “Nikola Vaptsarov” Naval Academy Varna, Bulgaria; "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy Constanța; Holisun Baia Mare; "Septimiu Mureşan" Police Officers School, Cluj-Napoca.
The content of the future methodology on the elaboration and implementation of evaluation strategies in the educational process, as well as aspects related to the management and general implementation of the project and the organization of the future transnational meeting in Holesov were discussed.
One of the innovative assessment tools that the Holisun aim to develop within the project is facial recognition technology, which will be used to identify people assessed through online tests. The use of this tool in the admission process, during schooling and the graduation exam will lead to a better security of online assessment processes, providing an additional guarantee of the identity of the assessed person, while avoiding direct contact between the assessor and the assessee.
The current context generated by the COVID-19 pandemic has brought educational institutions in the defense, order and public safety sector, regardless of their level of training and country of origin, to the challenge of adapting their educational act to the new vocational training requirements, in conditions of safety and social distancing.
